A calm & steady presence for your family’s beginning

Welcoming a baby is a profound transition. My role is to support you with personalized care, clear information, and a warm and steady presence, through pregnancy & birth, postpartum, and the early weeks of life with your baby.

Birth Support

- 2 prenatal visits (in-person or virtual) to discuss birth preferences, comfort measures, and preparation
- Phone/text support during pregnancy for questions and reassurance
- 24/7 on-call support beginning at 38 weeks
- Continuous support throughout labour and birth
- Comfort measures and support for partners
- Advocacy and communication support with your care team
- 1-2 hours post-delivery support to help with bonding and settling in
- Optional: use of TENS machine
- Postpartum follow-up: 1 home visit, and phone/text support for the first 6 weeks
The fee for this comprehensive package is $1250.
Birth clients can also add on 20 hours of Postpartum Support for a discounted rate of $650!

Postpartum Support

- Emotional support and space to process your birth
- Newborn care and guidance (feeding, soothing, sleep basics)
- Support for your healing and rest
- Light household help (dishes, laundry, meal prep)
- Sibling care
- Evidence-informed answers to your questions
- Phone/text support between visits
- Guidance for local parenting resources
Postpartum support is billed at a rate of $35 an hour, with a 4-hour minimum shift.
Hours can be pre-purchased as a bundle, with 10% discount when purchasing 40+ hours. (E.g. 40 hours = $1260, 60 hours = $1890)

E-mail/Text Support Only

An alternative to traditional, in-person support: a doula in your pocket! Unlimited e-mail and text messaging through your pregnancy and postpartum period - evidence-based answers to all your questions, resource-sharing, referrals, and emotional support as you navigate the transition into parenthood.
